7 Deadly Sins!
It has been a while since our last release but we are pleased to announce that we have two new releases out this month! Yes we are a record label! The first is a download single only by Oxford punk/rock band Smilex with punk/laptop rapper Mc Lars called 'Dead Horses.' It can be download from ITUNES now.
Also we are very excited and pleased that we have our first physical release for ages out which is the debut album '7' by Smilex. The album is out on Nov 19th on CD and out now on ITUNES. It was produced and mixed by Ace from Skunk Anansie (who also plays a wicked solo on the album!) and comes in a fancy book with 16 pages of artwork by the talented Emily Gray.
It features the following tracks from Smilex's live set:
1) Explode!
2) Sex 4 Sale
3) Syllabus
4) Ape Pig Man
5) ...For What It's Worth
6) Gett Off The Game
7) God Given Right
The album has national distribution so you should be able to hassle your local HMV to order you a copy if they have not got it in stock! Or you can get copies from:
Play.com
Amazon.co.uk
hmv.com
Releasing this CD has reminded us just how difficult being a DIY label can be. There has been a lot of blood, sweat & tears shed to release this album but now it is here we are all proud of it. Thanks to everyone who helped with getting this album released and to those who worked so hard in making the record and also thanks to those who are helping us promote the record. If anyone fancy's helping us out with promoting the record or knows any people who maybe up for reviewing the record please feel free to get in touch! cheers
